ALA Student Government
The mission of the Student Government is to motivate students to uphold the culture of the academy by liaising between the student body and the broader ALA community with a special focus on servant leadership.
Just like the Baobab tree that develops a strong trunk/stem to support its branches,

stands, fights and advocates
for the student body.
Origin
This piece is inspired by the Baobab Tree. It is a combination of the Student Government initials and the trunk of the Baobab. The trunk represents the resilience and fighting spirit embodied by the government. On top of the trunk are the branches. Although forming the SG initials, they symbolize the student body.
An aspect of servant leadership as the trunk tirelessly carries its branches.
